We're flexible. With only twelve seats per tour, you can rest assured that the attention you receive will be personalized. A SlowDown Itinerary is subject to change—due to inclement weather, unexpected discoveries or our clients wishes. Are you interested in architecture or the regional ecology? Let us know and we will seek out the little-visited local treasures and share them with you.

We know what we're doing. Robin has taught (and managed) some of the most prestigeous art schools in North America. His insights into the personal solutions that will make a student's paintings individual and surprising, are, themselves, amazing. Katarina's passion for paint is infectious - she assists beginning artists to the develop skills, technique and enthusiasm for the medium. Both want you to discover the power and originality in your work.

We're fussy. About the locations we visit, the places we sleep, the food we eat. Its not always about feather down and truffles fois gras - but we demand accomodations with character and expect well-prepared food with a taste of the country.

We're fun. But not in that whooping, beer-guzzling, slap-stick kind of way. Its just that we can't imagine enjoying travel without a sense of wonder, a sense of delight, or (most importantly) an sense of humour.
