Born in Great Britain, Robin Mayor studies at St Martin's School of Art in London, and Ecole Des Beaux Arts in Paris. He has spent the last 40 years as an artist, art instructor and art administrator at Universities across North America, including Massachusetts College of Art, Western Washington State University, Bradley University, Alberta College of Art and Design, and Emily Carr College of Art and Design. His work currently explores the dichotomy of great beauty and ecological devastation found in industries such as forestry, fisheries, and agribusiness. A
native of British Columbia, Canada, Katarina is a graduate of the Victoria
College of Art and the Pacific Design Academy. An exhibiting artist for
ten years, her current series is a celebration of the kiss and an exploration
of the relationship (both real and imagined) between characters (both real
and imagined). Katarina is enthusiastic in her role as instructor both for
private tutorials and larger classes developing excersises that hone
skills and challenge the creativity of the neophyte artist. Katarina's selected

Both Robin and Katarina have travelled extensively throughout Europe and North America. They have a passion for travel and the vast richness of cultures throughout the world, their preference for diversity is apparent in the accomodations and ameneties provided to workshop participants, from fine authentic cuisine to local guides.
